Let me describe to you what happens behind those closed doors, that you think no one else knows about. And no, I was not a fly on your wall, I just know exactly what life with a Narcissist looks like, because I have been there too.

Yet another love article. Another one among many already posted and perhaps more to come. As long as we are alive, we will keep wondering, pondering and trying to understand the big L word. We can’t help ourselves. We are always questioning. We crave to find answers so we can find peace. Some of us can’t get out of bed, while some can’t function a day, others won’t be able to focus - not until we reach to some sort of conclusion in our minds about why, how and what we feel, where it’s leading us and what actions should we take moving forward. We are questioning constantly … Is it love?

Is it love at first sight? Or is it an instant connection between two familiar souls?

The thing about Trust is that we take it for granted in our day to day lives. We don’t realize how much faith and trust we are putting into people in general …… You see, there are many reasons why people lie, keep secrets, cheat, inflict harm, whatever it may be, and in return, there are many ways we handle those findings.

Maybe you knew that this man was 'taken' when you first got involved and maybe you were deceived. The point here, from the moment you found out he has another woman in his life, why did you continue? Were you hoping he would leave her to be with you?

The lesson I learned is that not only is it important to forgive those who wronged you, but it is even more important to forgive yourself for the wrongs you have done. It will not get you anywhere to keep punishing yourself for something that passed.

What happens to men when they tie the knot? Why do they change dramatically? Some change to the better, while some to the worst, in comparison to who they were showing themselves to be before marriage. Every case is different, not all men are the same, however, the common denominator is that they do change.

A question many couples ask when they hit a solid wall in their relationship. Whether they have been dating for years, living together, or married with children. There are many common influences that cause the end result of a lack of intimacy and an apparent detachment. Just as intimacy took some time to be built, it also took some time to be lost.

Every woman holds secrets that she keeps locked in her heart. She does not speak of them to anyone. Only she knows how she feels. Because only she endured what she decided to endure.

It’s not like this woman wanted the suffering. But she chose it. Why did she? Is the better question to be asked. What made her sacrifice herself?

This is the million dollar question: why don’t we?  What stops us from taking action. What blinds us from seeing the signs of things going downhill? Why do we only notice when things have gotten really bad. It’s not like we are not aware. We can see things are changing and not the same, but it’s like we just watch as a spectator, as our life unfolds and take different turns. One day we may reach a point of no return and walk away from it all.
